PRIDE WAVE / PRIDE CONTROL V2 20/10MM WHEELS

Discover the high-end wheelset from Pride Racing, specifically designed for BMX Race. It consists of the PRIDE Wave rim and the Pride Control V2 hubs.

The WAVE rim, exclusively developed by Pride Racing, is an innovation with its unique design featuring a square reinforcement at each spoke head. This reinforcement allows for higher spoke tension, offering increased stiffness. Additionally, the optimized spoke head orientation facilitates wheel building.

Made from Toray T700 carbon, the rim has an ultra-low profile with a height of 22 mm and a width of 31 mm, which helps reduce wind drag while providing excellent vertical and lateral stiffness. Weighing under 300g, it is one of the lightest rims on the market, a major advantage in competition.

Compatible with Tubeless tires, the rim requires the use of rim tape, a valve, and specific tires. It is exclusively compatible with disc brakes, as it does not have brake flanges for rim brakes.

The Pride Racing Control hubs have evolved with a new version incorporating an ISO6 disc mount, making assembly easier and ensuring wider compatibility. Machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum, the hub bodies provide outstanding precision and finish. The engagement system has also been improved with a 7075-T6 Aluminum driver, equipped with a clip holding six micro-toothed pawls, slightly wider than in the previous Pride Control V1. This system retains its 180 points of engagement, with pawls engaging in groups of three, ensuring exceptional responsiveness during racing.

This wheelset combines lightness, stiffness, and performance, making it an essential choice for BMX Race riders seeking speed and reliability.

NOTES

The 20mm front axle is not included. The rear wheel comes with a lock ring and spacers to adjust the chain line.
