PRIDE WAVE CFR WHEELS / PRIDE CONTROL
After extensive research and development, the French brand Pride Racing offers a pair of wheels that are both rigid and lightweight. Lightness and rigidity are generally two opposing factors, yet the result of these wheels proves that the challenge has been met!
The Pride Wave CFR rim was created and developed exclusively for BMX racing. This is a new exclusive design by Pride Racing, featuring a square reinforcement at each spoke head, allowing for higher spoke tension for superior wheel rigidity. The Wave rim is constructed from Toray T700 carbon and has a very low profile to reduce wind resistance and optimize rigidity. Weighing in at less than 300g, it becomes one of the lightest rims on the market, a real asset on the track!
For the hubs, the wheelset is equipped with Pride Control V2 hubs with a 20mm axle at the front and a 15mm axle at the rear. These hubs have 180 engagement points with 6 micro-toothed pawls engaging 3 at a time, all housed in a CNC-machined body made from 6061-T6 aluminum. The brake disc mount is ISO6.
NOTES
The 20mm front axle is not included. The rear wheel comes with a lock ring and spacers to adjust the chain line.
